Recognition Event

Due to the success of last year's Recognition Event we decided to hold another this year, which was held on 11th Dec 2013. Again this was very successful and again Grace Sansom kindly agreed to present the certificates. The Recognition Event was to set up to acknowledge all the hard-work, commitment and progress that takes place every day in the clinic by patients and staff.

The categories include:

• Clinical teams identify one patient they work with who they feel has made a significant effort in their recovery, recognising the hard-work and progress patients in their teams have made over the year.

• Patients recognising staff, we identify the staff that have received two or more nominations from patients, there were a wide variety of staff identified, which included, many of the primary nurses and qualified nurses, health care support workers, Consultants, Occupational Therapy Staff and Psychologist.

• Patients recognising aspects fellow patients and staff on their ward bring to their ward community.
