Ogmore Ward Social Day Out

On Tuesday 19th November we left the clinic just after 12.00, 4 patients and 2 ward staff for a social day out. The destination was Nantgarw Ten-Pin Bowling Centre, where for £5 a head you could play 2 games of ten-pin bowling. We tended to find the bowling difficult in the beginning with the balls travelling down the sides of the guttering. But after a while a partition was automatically used, preventing the balls from running down off the alley, so the scoring became a lot healthier, and a few strikes were achieved to make it competitive. We must have played for an hour and a half before discussion meant we were going to McDonalds. This resulted in us having something to eat.

A good day was had by everyone so we thanked Jan and Steve for taking us.
