You take away my freedom
You take away my pride
But you can't take the part of me
That's hidden deep inside.
Surround me with these four grey walls,
Neglect my heart and soul
But there's a light that still shines on-
A glow which makes me whole
The drugs you pump inside me ,
Make my senses spin
But why, oh why, will you not probe
The pain that lies within?
Walk with me into the darkness
Hold my hand in case I fall
In doing so, it might just be
That I can tell you all.
I know it's all too easy
You see it all the time
But to ignore my agony
Seems such a dreadful crime
When I want to talk to you
It seems you run away
Please, all I want is love and care,
