Oh no it′s you again. Oh yes it is me, your penfriending, card making lass from Ogmore ward .
I was lucky to take part in a few card making sessions at the local craft store. There I learned a few different techniques using cards, paper and folding techniques. I was so impressed that I thought I would share with you a folding design. Card making is easy, all you need is some imagination. Now to the card.
You need
- 1 card (any colour)
- 1 template (I chose a tree)
- 1 coloured sheet of paper
- glue or masking tape
- Scissors
You start off with cutting 2"strips of the coloured paper and fold them in half.
Get your template and put the back up. On the reverse of the tree put the strips across the opening, overlapping the previous one.and carry on until you′ve finished it. Cut them to size and stick them on either with masking tape or glue. Now fold the card in half and stick your finished tree onto the card. Voila, here is your tree.
PS. I have got myself another list of pen friends If they all write back I will have about 30 pen friends. That will keep me occupied
